I graduated from Woodford Training Center in June 2007. I received awards for the highest academic average and perfect class attendance. I also placed second in the “In-House Cut/Finish Competition”.
After graduation I worked in some of the best salons in the city. I have attended two Allied Beauty Association Hair shows in Toronto, Ontario in April 2009. I also completed the Vidal Sassoon Basic Cutting Course in Toronto, Ontario. I love the beauty industry and in April 2010 I was selected as one of six stylists from Newfoundland to work for the Juno Awards. I was the personal hairstylist of Lights and Carly Rae Jepson. I was also noted as Lights hairstylist in FLARE Magazine in July 2010.
Even though I am new to the industry I love my job and my passion for the beauty industry because it keeps me focused and motivated. I am excited to begin this new chapter in my life and know that my future holds great things. As the newest member of the team at Athena by Anstey Salon & Spa, I am looking forward to my bright future!!
